Brief History
In the late 1980s, Neels Van Aswegen saw a gap in the market and took a risk by leaving his position at Basil Read where he had gained a wealth of experience in the civil engineering sector. He transitioned to working as a subcontractor for top construction companies, managing and completing various commercial & industrial paving projects. With a dedicated team, he became known for reliability and skill. Over time, Neels not only built a successful paving business but also became a mentor to his team, passing down his knowledge.
In 2013 Neels’ health took a toll, and as a result, his business was in decline. His grandsons who worked under him at the time decided to step in and take on the commitment of furthering the business and honouring his legacy by officially establishing Precision Paving in 2015. Symbolising their commitment to delivering precision, quality, and excellence in every paving project they undertook.
Precision Paving Today
Since its establishment in 2015, Precision Paving has successfully completed over 500 paving installations in both residential and commercial sectors.
With two skilled in-house teams and knowledgeable foremen overseeing operations, we ensure efficient project execution and top-notch craftsmanship. To meet increased demands, Precision Paving also collaborates with two trusted sub-contractors.
Our focus on customer satisfaction, timely project completion, and uncompromising quality have made us a preferred choice in the industry.

While Precision Paving has been successfully completing projects across South Africa, our vision is to establish branch offices in every province, positioning Precision Paving as the leading paving specialist in South Africa.
Recognising the need for our specialised services in the developing world, we aim to venture beyond the borders of South Africa in the future.
